Naomi - If I had a glass wall, would you clean it for me? :) It was fun to work with you on this project. I love it that you're always so eager to tackle big things. You're a blessing, sweet girl!

Jami - I'm glad you had such a nice Christmas! The Lord is good! I do know what you mean about getting around to things! Have you tackled your bedroom yet? ;)

Michelle - Well, that's just what I wanted you to think with the title. :) And of course my kids get busted from time to time. I love your idea for the doors, even though I don't think its quite what I need. Thanks, though!

Marg - No, it doesn't always look like this! Re: the pellet stove, yes it is fixed! There was an area of it that I hadn't scraped down well enough (it needs constant cleaning) so the pellets got caught up instead of falling into the fire pot. Then they built up all the way up the shoot to the hopper and that's where the fire was headed. We are hoping one day to have a normal wood stove instead of a pellet because of it being a complicated machine that can break down. But, it is easy! As long as it is clean, just fill and light!

Your desk area looks very organized. Tell me it doesn't always look like that! ;) LOL Hubby and I have talked about getting a pellet stove. I guess you fixed the thinga-ma-jig attached to the whats-it on your stove?

I think you should have a green screen behind your desk so you can put whatever background you like! Ds has a program on his computer that he can do that so I imagine you could too, if you don't already. There would be no limit to the possibilities and it could coodinate to each particular video.

The title made me think it was the Principal's Office, where kids have to go when they get *really* busted! :-D But your kids are so great, maybe that doesn't happen. ;-)

I saw a cute idea for making a divider screen at a local garden store that had "shabby chic" decor (not sure if that's your style or not)- they had taken old vintage doors (the kind with glass window panes on the top half) and hinged them together accordian-style. It seems like it's easy to get free old doors, if you keep your eye out.

Sorry to hear Jeff was sick; hopefully at least the rest did him some good. I'm sure he was itching to be working outside on all the projects you have going! Maybe watching MacGuyver was a close second, at least he could tuck away clever fix-it-with-wire-ties ideas for later! ;-D

It looks so organized, that must feel good... I'm getting inspired to go tackle my bedroom *grin*

I agree abstract 'food' art - maybe they could use scrapes of material and glue to create 'paintings' of fruits, veggies and such. I have always loved the texture and depth of material paintings. My mom made one when I was young of a suspension bridge at night, I've never gotten over the interest and appeal of that fabric painting.
I want to do one . . . . when I get one of those little round-to-its.

We had a really stress free Christmas, which was such a blessing. The Lord was very good to us in many ways :-)

I'm sorry to hear about Jeff, I know what you mean about taking it easy and enjoying movies. We were sick around Thanksgiving and did much the same. It's best to surrender to rest and liquids to speed healing on it's way.

He was feeling better yesterday, so we're all thankful. It was weird. He was dizzy and nautious with no other symptoms.

That's a good idea to have food pictures, abstract, or maybe even some drawings! I like it. I'll think on that.

Hi Wardeh
I think it looks great! How about have the children make some abstract pictures of food to hang behind your desk? I'm looking forward to all the videos!

Our Christmas was very good. Relaxing and un-stressful. I'm glad your family had a good one. How's Jeff feeling?
