Our barn project is moving along. We’re putting in a new water system and closing in the pole barn, with sides. Jeff and our friend have been working on the plumbing once a week for several weeks, which they finished yesterday. Next week they’ll begin the electrical.
Jeff asked me to help him set posts on Saturday. And I really didn’t want to. What I expected would be hours of just holding up 16 foot posts turned into exactly that. About 4 hours of holding up posts. It was hard on the arms, let me tell you! But suprisingly, I enjoyed being outside working with him. It was a pretty nice day and it felt good to help with the project.
So, basically, this is what I did on Saturday.

LOL Wardeh! 4 different angles of you holding a post.
I’ve btdt. I prefer it over housework though I wouldn’t want to do it everyday. It looks like a good-sized barn. What all do you plan to house in there in the future?
.-= Marg´s last blog ..First egg =-.
I’m sure you have btdt. Jeff said he wants me to help him put the sides up on the barn, too. I said, “You’re kidding, right? Me?”
We’re closing it in and half of it will be for a shop and water system and feed storage and a milking area. The other half will be for the animals’ shelter. We’ll split up their area into sections, like for birthing, isolation, babies to sleep, etc. We’ve got a couple more weeks before the rainy season is here, so this is time crunch…
