“When I Build You” From My Brother Jibran

My brother, Jibran, wrote a song for a client, for whom he was doing some sort of computer/web job. I don’t understand all the particulars, but suffice it to say he’s really good at his job and he can sing about it pretty well, too. ;) The client really liked the song, so he hired a crew to film Jibran playing it in downtown Seattle. Then Jibran created a website (When I Build You) to feature the song and that’s what you get to see. I love the line, “All the php-ers cry boo-hoo.”

You’re blessed to be getting a sneak peak. Right now my brother is away from home without proper internet to spread the word. :) Hope he won’t be mad at me for jumping the gun, but he gave me something to write about today.

I love it, that is too funny! We only have Visual Studio 2000 at my company though. The song makes me anxious for what I’ll sing about when we are finally forced to upgrade because Microsoft will stop supporting the version we’re using.

Wardeh, you are too kind for posting this. Thank you. The elusive F5 is for actually building and running your application. It executes the program you are developing. I stumbled upon this post by accident, too, on an unrelated site. The internet is an amazing place.
