Making Movies is Hard Work!

Yesterday, the kids and I wore ourselves out. We started working on movies to show artisan bread, Kombucha and sprouting. None of those are done. In fact, I want to redo them. :( By the end of the day, we all slept well and earned our sleep, for sure! The girls are just amazing me with their filming skills. They zoom smoothly, they hold the camera steady, they follow the action — all much more impressively than I hoped at first.

One movie we did finish, but only because it was a simple topic that could be documented in one shot: How to Slice and Dice Onions… the SMART Way! Click on over to gnowfglins to see that one.

Today, we are going to take more movies of the topics I mentioned before. Even though I am worn out a bit  from all our showing and telling… I am thankful to be able to share — and very happy that now I have a clean kitchen to enjoy. I had to clean it and declutter it in order to share our view!

It was fun to hear your voice, Wardeh!

I think the video looks great! And your kitchen too. I know what you mean about having it nice once you’ve gotten it all cleaned up. We’re continuously doing that since we’ve put our house on the market. I cleared a lot of stuff off of the counters, and I like having more space there!

This is awesome, Wardeh! You are an excellent teacher! Hugs, Robin
