It’s a tradition now. Whenever either Jeff’s or my parents visit, we go to Tolly’s in downtown Oakland, Oregon, for ice cream. The restaurant is a fancy place, but they have an old fashioned counter for ice cream and burgers (though we never sit there). We went yesterday with my parents. Whenever my mom is around, lots of pictures get taken. She gets out her camera, so I get out mine. I’m glad because if not for her, I would never make it into any pictures. But I’m most thankful for the great memories of shared love and ice cream!
