We celebrated Mikah’s 8th birthday yesterday. He picked the menu. He said the day didn’t turn out quite as he expected. He had really hyped it up in his mind! The expectation of having a birthday isn’t quite the same as the reality of a birthday, where you’re special and pampered, yes, but nothing earth-shattering happens.
What a special boy he is. When I think of all he’s brought into my life. I can’t imagine not having this fantastic son. So we had a wonderful day of celebrating Mikah and the rich life God has given us.
Jeff and the kids kept pretty busy outside yesterday. God granted us one more dry weekend to finish some outside projects that depend on tractor-work. Jeff moved a bunch of rocks and made a rock wall. He piled up chips for us to have a mud-free walkway between the truck’s parking spot and the house. Oh, thank you for that! I have been quite vocal in my desire to have that sooner rather than later.

Happy Birthday Micah (one day late). With our children, 5,6 and 7 year old birthdays were the most exciting! After that, it just doesn’t live up to the hype! Micah is a blessed boy – he knows the Lord!
This time of year always reminds me of how much I hated to see summer go when I was a little girl! Summer always seemed so short! God Bless all the Harmons this Fall day!
Wardeh,
Your page has been loading REALLY REALLY REALLY slowly yesterday and today. And I can’t even access your food GNOWFLIGNS page, I end up with a 404 Error stating that the page can not be found.
