We had friends over today. Even though we’ve been sick with a cold, the visit was wonderful. These friends of ours have been through a cold lately, too, so we felt safe sharing germs.
They came at lunch time. We had set the table with all our nice tea cups and saucers. We made three kinds of tea — lemon zinger, white pomegranate, and mint. All sweetened with raw local, honey. We drank tea and soothed our sniffles, while filling our bellies with a main dish of rice & bean bowls. And for dessert, chocolate chip cookies.
Thank you, Lord, for good friends, good fellowship and good food! You are very good to us.

I am so happy that your tea party went so well. A sweet time of fellowship is good medicine for all.
Hugs, Robin
Wardeh, the tea party yesterday at your home was such a delightful surprise! I’m so grateful that all three of us enjoy tea and had a wonderful time sampling the different teas you prepared for us. The extra tea to take home with us as a gift was very special. Thank you for blessing our family with so much of your generosity, wonderful hospitality, and grace. We love you all! When can you come over and join us for some tea at our home again?
Love,
Julieanne, Kelsi, and Brittany (and Elmer, who didn’t join us for tea!)
