I couldn’t make it to any thrift stores yesterday when we were out; the day was just too busy. But when I was packing our lunch, I realized that I’d neglected to share what I found last week (the week before maybe?). These four wooden bowls. Wish there were five, as there are five of us. But I’m sure someday, and probably soon, I’ll run across another wooden bowl. I love wooden bowls. We used to pack heavy glass bowls for our Wednesday lunches on the go. These are lighter and more suited to being out. $2 for all. A big bowl and tongs came with them, actually, but I didn’t need or want them, so I donated those back to Goodwill. They wouldn’t split up the set so I kept what I wanted — the little bowls.
Four Wooden Bowls

Those bowls are very cute! I wish I had something like them. For years I had a small set of crockery-type bowls my dh had brought back from Thailand for me. They were the perfect size and came a heaping dollop of sentimental value. A few dc later, though … only one bowl left. ((sigh)) Next time … WOOD.
No time for thrift stores? You must have been REALLY busy!
Praying for a less busy time for you!
