My girls are gone to an outdoor camp for three days, today through Wednesday. They were so excited they didn’t get a wink of sleep last night. I went to wake them at 5 am only to find them already emerged from their room with silly grins on their faces.
Mikah is very happy right now. He loves his sisters, but he thinks this time for the two of us is the coolest. Today, we worked on his school together, we popped popcorn for lunch and ate it watching a little of Star Wars. Then we played chess. It was a tie. I’m a poor chess player and he’s good, but young. That equals a draw.
I am about to fall asleep, I am so tired. I couldn’t sleep last night and got up at 3ish to clean the kitchen. Jeff was up because he couldn’t sleep, either. He did some work for the office from home. It is nice he can log in from here and do some of his work.
Jeff is going to be home soon, hopefully, an early day for him, and we three we must lay water pipe and electric wire in the trench he completed yesterday. The trench is blocking the truck in the shop/pole barn, where it is parked. I have to get out by Wednesday as I have bulk food co-op orders to deliver in town. So if we get all the wires and pipe in the ground, he can fill the trench back up, at least right behind the truck.

I am so glad that you are having the one-on-one time. Now that I have two, I really appreciate the one-on-one times.
