I would love to learn more about your rock wall, is it a retaining wall? We need to build one, and realize that hiring it done would probably be exhorbitant. Yours looks beautiful, I’d love to have something like that.

Thank you! Jeff will be pleased to hear your compliment! It is a retaining wall, which we will put up in 4 foot high sections, then terrace a bit, and then go up 4 feet more. I just emailed you more details.

I love homemade retaining walls and Jeff has done a super job on yours. They have such character and no two are the same. And, it’s pretty cool that you use your own local resourses for the wall. Can’t ask for a better deal there.

Thank you, Robin. The rocks are local, but they’re not ours. Unfortunately, with high fuel costs, they’re not cheap. But in doing the work of placing them ourselves, it is a good investment. Or we hope so! Love, Wardeh
