Just telling you about it… haven’t done it yet. My dishwasher’s performance has really been lacking lately. So lacking that I’ve been washing dishes by hand for the last month.
This looks like a good guide, so I’m going to follow it.

That’s a great link. So far I have just used 1 cup of white distilled vinegar on the bottom rack and washed it on it’s longest cycle. We have only had ours for a year so I’m sure I’ll need to someday do all the above link suggests. Thanks again:)
can’t thank you enough for this. i think we have mold ‘issues.’ we left it open for a day to try and air it out and typically i use the air dry cycle… anyway i’m going to look thru this manual and try it out. I’m so happy that i put a blog roll w/ who posts when on my sidebar- i saw this title and had to look!
Cleaning the dishwasher is not an job I like.
We have to clean out the screan, or suppose to, after every wash. Keeps it from filling up and flooding.
I too need to clean mine but some of it will wait till hubby gets home as he’s better at taking stuff apart, cleaning/fixing and putting back together. That’s one of the things I love so much about him <3
