- Being home, not anywhere else, six days a week.
- Freedom for my kids to explore outdoors on our property and neighboring property, to make mud pies, to play Lord of the Rings with homemade bows & arrows, to swing at the Big Tree, to love on our goats.
- Tailoring our homeschool curriculum to allow more time to pursue individual passions.
- Stocking up the pantry so I am not dependent on weekly grocery shopping.
- Someone is hungry for ice cream? Being able to make it for my family myself.
- Loving getting up each morning with an excitement to serve the Lord through what I teach, what I cook, what I sew, and what I read and write.
- Family gathering around to pray often and truly.
- Access to the Internet to visit with my friends, a great and treasured blessing.
- Children who hug me frequently and well.
- Time each afternoon to read or rest as I desire.
- Feeling God’s goodness in the myriad kindnesses and love He bestows through family and friends.
- Knowing that God cares for me.
- Good, local friends who are committed to nurturing a godly, long-term friendship in order to serve and love each other for years to come.
- Weekends when Jeff is home with us. All together. Working together and serving each other and loving each other.

Wardeh sweet Wardeh, Whata wonderful example you are to me, I love coming here daily to visit, and sometimes to just be with you!
I thought of you tonite as I watched the first installment of Sense and Sensibility on Public Telivision, I would love to watch it with you and eat popcorn with Mikah!
My love and warm hugs to all of you..Mona
This is so beautiful…. something I am going to have to do too.
What beautiful sentiments, my friend. I think I may have to do something like this to remind myself what really matters!
