I many times felt History took over our curriculum, kwim? It is fine for my one history buff but labor intensive for the rest plus we were trying so hard to keep up with History, the basics suffered. I think History is important, but I would like my kids to read, write and be able to do Math too!! LOL!! It sounds like you have a good balance there!! Love, Karen T.
