Finished Men’s Christmas Gifts

mensgifts.jpg

I got the aftershave off the porch where it had been infusing with cedar, rosemary and vanilla for the last two weeks. It smells wonderful! After I put the aftershave in the slimline bottles, I labeled all the containers with a handwritten title on white printer address labels. I trimmed the labels down with scissors to keep them minimally sized. Then I created the gift packages. I did it simply. I put all three things in a bread bag, twist tied it, and tied a ribbon around the top. I would have liked to have some of that shred stuff to put in the bottom of each bag, but I don’t.

In case you’re wondering where the shampoo bars are, I decided not to give those to the men.

  1. Very nice!! Almost makes me want to be a man. ROTFL

I was wondering if you could make that shaving cream for women? Make it smell more like a perfume or something?

I saw on a crafty show, a lady put some parchment paper through her shredder to make the shredded stuff. You could do that with colored paper too. I thought that was creative. :)
That’s a great idea! Except, I don’t have a shredder! Anyway, everything’s all packed up to mail today. I am not the queen of presentation and I don’t claim to be. I do favor simplicity and if ever the two butt heads, simplicity wins out! Shredding your way would have been simple, had I a shredder.

I think you can make the shaving cream for women. Sylvia’s recipe calls for the optional addition of essential oil. That would make it smelly. I have been using this in the shower; I really like it. Sylvia’s recipe is here.

Bye, Michelle! Have a great day!

    Love, Wardeh
