Haniya, Naomi and I are staying after church tomorrow for a baby shower. These are some little gifts I made up to give the new baby and his momma. I fell in love with the flannel I used for the blanket because of all those whimsical farm animals. To make it, I took 2 pieces of it, each one yard, and seamed them together at the edges with my serger’s rolled hem. The little hats took about 10 minutes each to sew up (McCall’s 8574 — newborn layette). I found that pattern at a thrift store a couple months ago.
