Headed Out…
Lots of errands to run today. I just made myself a list so I wouldn’t forget anything!
*chiropractor
*library — picture books for our study of the Eastern Hemisphere
*Walmart — school supplies
*grocery store
*piano lessons — Haniya and Naomi
*auto supply — grease zircs (tractor) and fuel pre-filter (also for tractor)
*bookstore — birthday gift for a young friend
*copy shop — pick up copy order of school workbooks
*special music practice — trio of flute (me), piano, violin
*Farmer’s Market — microgreens, tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, zucchini
*meat locker — pick up 1/2 grass-fed beef for the freezer
*home, blessed home…
I want to coordinate my arrival home with Jeff’s, so he can be the one to unload the beef. Last year, I hurt myself carrying the heavy boxes. Thankfully, today is a cool day so it won’t thaw so much on the drive home.
I would like to join Jeff on our walk this evening. For awhile now, we have been walking every night. We’re not doing yoga anymore, not sure why, but we grew out of it, I guess. Walking is good. If I have my usual errand-day headache, then I won’t be able to go for a walk tonight.
I’m curious what is going to happen at my follow-up chiropractor visit. It is unfortunate that we will have to be running around the whole day after my appointment. I’ll take lots of water along.
Right now I’m packing our lunch and plenty of water. I’ve got a gluten-free quick bread loaf in the oven for our sandwiches. It is an experiment, and hopefully successful.
Haniya is up and in the shower. I need to coax Mikah and Naomi up now. They both need to shower, too. We leave in an hour.

Wardeh,
What differences are you seeing in your family now that you’ve been gluten free for awhile?
The only person who has really seen a difference has been Haniya. She was having some digestive issues that are completely gone. She was the only one who tested positive in having allergies to all the gluten grains. My husband and Mikah showed a sensitivity to wheat only and we really haven’t seen a noticeable difference in them. ~Wardeh
Wow, you sure are busy! My kids can not handle more than two stops. I hope you were able to get everything done yesterday and back home safely.
We really can’t handle that many stops, either. But we have to. This is the only day we have out, so it all must be done. We did get everything done and back safely.
Thanks, Michelle! Love, Wardeh
Wardeh, how is your back doing? How did your chiropractor visit go? I’ve been praying for you!
Yesterday D and M went to San Francisco with my FIL and SIL and niece to go to a Giants baseball game, and the girls and I went and did some shopping and girly stuff. When we went into JoAnn’s the girls saw some fabric that reminded them of you and so we started talking about how much we miss you all!
Lori, you’re so sweet to ask after my back/neck issue. It is slowly improving. My adjustment on Wednesday found me out of alignment again (not unexpectedly), but not quite so off-kilter. I do feel worse at the moment but that is not unexpected either because the muscles are being asked to stretch again when my alignment is fixed.
We miss you, too. How fun that your guys went to SF! And fun for you to have a girly day! Have a wonderful weekend! Love, Wardeh
