Naomi’s Quilt
Naomi has been piecing together a quilt (that she began in the beginning of the year) in earnest last week and this week. These are squares that I bought from a thrift store, all cut up and ready, for $1.

Yesterday the quilt was ready for tying, the method she chose.
She worked on it all morning and then again in the eveing.
We definitely dug in the stash for everything else. The batting is in 4 pieces left over from other quilts. We layed the strips out next to each other and stitched them together by hand. The backing is an old sheet. And the binding is a yellow cotton remnant I picked up somewhere.
She finished tying the entire quilt — 54 inches & 74 inches — yesterday. This morning I put the binding on for her. She did all the other work entirely by herself. Now it is all done! Yay, Naomi! She is so excited to get to sleep with it tonight.

What a beautiful smile and lovely quilt! Sweet dreams, darling Naomi! Love, Tata
Naomi WHAT A WONDERFUL JOB!!!
