Did I mention that I’ve sold two totes recently, along with a big soap order? The 2 totes that sold were out of the last bunch of 3 that I made. This was an answer to prayer. I have been wanting to buy the new Jane Eyre DVD. I never got to watch it because our reception was too poor. Jeff said if I could earn the money, I could buy the DVD.
I am glad God helped me out with that challenge.
I made another tote yesterday and one on Saturday. From now on, I’m sticking to heavy fabrics, like canvas, corduroy or bottom-weights, for the bag outers. The bags are much sturdier and hold their shape better that way. Both of these are corduroy. The camel corduroy is a lighter-weight, really soft and a feel-good corduroy. The black corduroy is not really black — sometimes it looks like dark, dark grey and sometimes like midnight blue. Really lucious. These 2 bags I listed in my Etsy shop. I plan to make a couple more before Thursday to replenish my stock in the book shop where I have bags for sale.
I wonder if I will tire of tote bags? I am planning some other projects, though. A friend sent me a pattern for a garden apron from a Martha Stewart magazine. And now that I have 10# of flax seeds, I can make a hot pac like I’ve mentioned. Guess I better get busy!
