Homeschool Morning

I’m having a mom moment this morning as I watch the kids in their various activities, some school-related and some not. My heart is full today. I love them to pieces!

This is the scene that first made my heart overflow. Mikah was reading aloud to me from his “Beginner’s Bible.”

Then Mikah finished his reading assigment and was free to play.

Haniya hopped on the couch that Mikah vacated for her Bible reading.

Naomi already finished her assignments and she turned to playing with her doll.

It is a bright sunny day here. We are about to have lunch during which time I read aloud from “Mountain Born”. We will begin a new study on animals for science and then is free time for the rest of the afternoon. The kids are chomping at the bit to get outside and I am eager to sew.

  1. It is beautiful out here too.
Looks like a lovely morning you are having.
Since I am new here–I haven’t gotten everything down just yet. I went back and saw where you had responded to where I posted…I am not used to that. LOL
Personally I LOVED season one! I am a huge Christopher Eccleston fan. He’s dreamy….lol
But so far all the seasons have been great! Good luck with finding them. We find them on the computer in newsgroups.

    Michelle

  2. PS.
I’d love to hear about your 2nd & 3rd birth after your cesarean.
I had to have a cesarean with our 3rd child. I am seriously thinking about a VBAC For our 4th.

  3. Lovely pictures! You really know how to capture scenes and feelings(yours) of the moment: attributes of a true artist! Love, M

  4. I found your blog from a search for a sub roll recipe! What a blessing to find this blog with all the great recipes to use in my Bosch mixer. I just got it in August and have been home-baking our bread ever since. I can’t wait to make the pita bread! I couldn’t even imagine finding a recipe for that. Although it does look difficult.
Your children are beautiful - like you I have two girls and a boy - but mine are slightly bigger 15, 13 and 9! They grow toooooo fast!
God bless you - it was nice visiting here!

  5. Very nice pictures! I too, am thankful for the “mom moments” that fill our hearts with joy!

  6. Such beautiful moments captured. :D

  7. Julie,

Well, I just got my Bosch in November and I am still adjusting all my old KA recipes to using the Bosch. I am so thankful for it! Everything seems so much better now :)
Congratulations on the progress you’ve made with home-baking your bread. The pocket bread seems more difficult because there are different steps involved and it is more involved, but it is amazing to behold once one is done with a batch!

    Thanks for stopping by, Julie!

    Love, Wardeh

  8. Michelle,

I would love to share more about my VBACs, but that might need to involve a phone call sometime. ;)

  9. ha ha
Yes, a phone call would be better for that kind of girl talk.
I hope you are having a lovely day.
    Love,
    Michelle

  10. How I do love those precious children! I miss them so much. They are truly Gifts from God, and I praise Him often for them. God bless them, and you, Wardeh, and know that I love you very much.

  11. Rosie has the same beginners bible Wardeh! She loves reading it..she always reminds me that it is more important than her story books. When her granma comes over (granma is unsaved), rosie says this..”Nanny, shall I read to you..I’m really good at reading now”

Nanny says “oh yes rosie, I’d love to hear you read”!

Rosie….”I’ll just get my bible then, it’s very important nanny”..rosie then starts to read the N.T..:) I am so blessed to have Rosie, she is so precious in praying for our unsaved family.

  12. Yvonne — that is so awesome~ she may lead her Nanny to the Lord one day. :D What a great witness she is.

We love our Beginner’s Bible. Each of the kids has read it cover to cover as their 2nd grade reader (Mikah’s just beginning, though).

    Love, Wardeh
