This is the quilt I made today for Jeff’s brother’s new baby boy. Baby Cole isn’t born yet; he’s due in February. The baby shower is this coming Saturday in southern California. We won’t be there, but I hope the quilt makes it in time in the mail!

Beautiful job Wardeh, and so even and well made..good for you!! warm hugs
I love the quilt! I started my first quilt about 8 years ago and finally finished it last year. I didn’t work on it that whole time…however I did make myself finish it!
Thanks for sharing such a beautiful picture of it.

Thank you, Mona! This was my easiest quilt ever. I did something new and it really was a time saver, plus it took the stress of having to be totally straight — I used the machine’s wave stitch!

I am laughing. I have done the same thing. I started my first quilt when we got married. Nine years later, I gave it to Jeff for Christmas (that was last year). It was the pattern Amish Barn Raising. Anyway, it looked vaguely familiar to him, but he still was surprised. Oh, I am just noticing that you have a blog????? I am going to go check it out!
Love, Wardeh
Hi Wardeh, I love the quilt. It is beautiful.
