Ladies’ Christmas Gift — Pictures

I’ve made 39 Vintage Tote Bags for the Holiday Craft Fair. I have stayed up late and risen early for the last two weeks, constantly sewing, pressing or cutting. I’m alternately pleased and critical of the results. I worry about how it will go, but then I remind myself that it is all in the Lord’s hands. Whatever will happen, He’s already determined.

Today as the girls helped me practice how I will display the bags at the craft fair, I feel better about the tote bags. I think I have a nice selection. I will take the 5-shelf metal rack from our living room. The bags will hang from hangers that fit in the wire shelves. I think the bags will display well and attract good attention.

Here they are — Vintage Tote Bags in many colors and shapes — long and wide, with short or long handles. Hopefully there will be something for everyone!

I found out from the lady who is coordinating the craft fair that I’ve been assigned the first space by the entrance doors. I think my tall rack full of bags should draw the attendees’ eyes and hopefully, they’ll like something well enough to make a purchase. I’ve settled on a price, too. The bags will be 1 for $12 or 2 for $20.

Lord, please bless my efforts. May any results, whether big or small, give glory to You. Amen.

  1. I said a prayer for you, that the Lord would bless you and be with you. My sister does fairs sometimes and it can be nervewracking to sell what you have made yourself. I know I get nervous when the things I make are sold or given away. It looks all so nice, Wardeh, and I would love to come browse your stall.

  2. Thank you, Lucy! I really appreciate your prayer on my behalf. Yes, it is nerve-wracking, and exciting, too. This is the first time I’ve done it. I would love to have you come and browse! Wouldn’t that be nice to have a friendly face! Love, Wardeh

I think you may find..that when people get there they may look and ooh and ahhh….and walk by sometimes..that’s what we found when we did ours, then they will be back and buy!!

Did you make your soap by the Hot Process method? :) It looks great!

I’ve missed our chatting back and forth. I guess it’s the time of year? Have a terrific rest of your Thursday, Love, Robin

Everything looks so nice! I am praying that the Lord will bless your efforts and help you have great success at the craft fair.

  6. Thank you, Mona, Robin and Sylvia. You’re dear friends!

Robin, I did make the soap by hot process. Very quick and satisfying!

Mona, I think you’re right. That will probably happen and I appreciate you mentioning it because then when it does, I will try not to get discouraged.

    Love, Wardeh
