My Treasures at Disneyland
As a birthday surprise for Haniya, Jeff’s mom & dad and sister took all the kids to Disneyland on Tuesday. What a special gift. The best part of my day today was getting a bunch of pictures of the event in my email inbox!
Here’s a picture of the kids at the entrance. Jeff’s mom says they were a little overwhelmed, though I think they quickly got over that and had a great, great day. The kids have never been to Disneyland before. I can’t imagine what it was like, never having been there myself. I’m sure they had a ball. Mikah told me (on the phone) that Buzz Lightyear was his favorite. Haniya said she couldn’t decide what her favorite part was; she loved it all. Naomi told me about the 50th Anniversary parade in the evening where they got to see all the Disney Princesses.
Oh what a treat for your kids! That makes having them away a bit easier, I would think, knowing that they’re getting to do such special things. I’m glad to hear about all your projects getting done. I’m VERY jealous. I sit here exhausting after another day of VBS not even sure if I can cook supper. Much less do the pile of sewing for the kids that’s screaming at me. Maybe next week….

We’re planing a trip to Disney Orlando soon for our three…so great to see that they are having fun!
Amy, they did come to CA, but they were only close to you that one day they went to Disneyland. Otherwise, they’ve mostly been quite a bit farther north. Wouldn’t that be fun if we could meet?
