Today
Today is my worst day yet with allergies. The wind is blowing and it is hot. We aren't able to mow and the grasses are really tall. The house must be full of allergens. I ran the vacuum again today as an air purifier. That lasts, for awhile. I am so ready for this allergy season to be over. I have never had it so bad, but then, I've never lived here before. Most of the country's grass seed is grown in neighboring counties. No wonder there's so much grass pollen in the air!
So schooling was a little backward today. I couldn't read to the children until about 11 and only the bare minimum — a few science pages, the Bible and that's it for reading aloud. The kids all did their math and reading and phonic while I assisted them, if necessary, in between sneezing.
The good news of the day. I hauled out our "broken" printer from the shed and decided to see if I could get it to work by cleaning it out. I blew out all the dust by connecting the hose to the exhaust hook-up. Then I wiped down all the internal parts. And now, we have a working printer. I forgot to say that I did pray over it, too. I know God answers prayers.
I printed up all my recipes I've been accumulating so I can put them in my recipe binder. The printer will help me to work on the Household Notebook that Sylvia showed us all how to do at T2CHK. She mentioned a website with all sorts of fill-in forms — Organized Home. I will spend some time there soon seeing what I can do with their resources.
When Jeff gets home, our weekend starts. Praise the Lord! I know he is ready for it and so are we.

Wardeh,
I’m so sorry for those allergies, I understand how you are suffering. Wouldn’t it be great if we could just find something that worked and worked consistantly to keep them at bay?
When you are finished putting together your notebook, I hope you will share it at the board. It would be a great encouragement to some of our ladies who want to start a household notebook.
Love
Sylvia
Dear Wardeh,
(((HUGS))) I am praying for your allergies to stop bothering you.
That web site is wonderful! I reallyl like the forms.
I hope your weekend was a wonderful one! Ours was busy. Darrell was home part of it, Matthew was here and we did yardwork and cleaned a lot in preparation for my brother coming. Have a marvelous Monday, Wardeh!
Love, Robin
Sylvia, yes, it would be wonderful to find something that worked consistently! I find that the sooner I get nettle tea into my body in the morning, the better off I am.
I am so excited to get working on my notebook! I have made some lists of what I want to include. I will work on it this afternoon.
Robin, how wonderful that you had Darrell home this weekend and your son Matthew over, too. We did alot of yardwork too! When is your brother coming?
Love, Wardeh
