On Saturday, the girls helped Jeff and I put hoops over all our garden beds. This allows us to put covers on the garden beds at night to protect them from the deer, to put shade cloth over the greens on very hot days, or to put plastic over the beds during the winter so we can keep growing all year.
Haniya and Naomi teamed up to bend the thin-wall PVC into hoops, putting each end over the thick-wall PVC stakes.
