The quilt block is absolutely beautiful! HOw long have you been sewing and how long does a piece like that take?
It really is gorgeous!
Blessings
Hi, Ellen. I love to sew! I mostly sew simple things because that tends to be our style, whether in home decorating or garments. And also, if something is too complex, then I lose interest ;).
This particular block didn’t take that long. I made 16 of them and with all the pressing, cutting and sewing they took probably around 6 hours.
I have been sewing since I was seven years old, when my mom taught me. So I have been teaching my daughters since they were seven, to continue the tradition for which I am very thankful.
Love, Wardeh
Dear Wardeh,
Your Friendship Star is stunning! Someday I hope to place the F.S. quilt blocks I have into the center of a quilt, or perhaps make a wall hanging. Perhaps someday you and I could exchange a Friendship Star. Now that would not be too much - to make one,.
I bid you good day.
Love, Robin
Oh, very pretty!!! I am so excited!!
Robin, I would swap one block with you!
That would be fun! Love, Wardeh
