Resurrection Weekend Blessings
Saturday's Blessings…
…enjoying extra time in the kitchen, making potluck contributions for Sunday — a chicken and brown rice casserole, apple crisp, fresh whole wheat rolls, and a big green salad…
…listening to Beethoven's 9th symphony…
…savoring a refreshing two mile walk in the rain with Jeff…
…watching The Passion of the Christ… being horrified and unable to speak… rejoicing that neither Jesus' love nor His determination to save us from sin would waver under the cruelest of punishments… and then, celebrating His victory over death!
Sunday's Blessings…
…not having to cook, with the exception of making oatmeal and green smoothies for breakfast…
…hearing my daughters raising voices of joy with the other youth in the church — they sang the Hymn to Joy from Beethoven's 9th Symphony…
…giving thanks that the Lord helped me enjoy, instead of being nervous about, my own special music contribution in church — Christ the Lord is Risen Today!…
…celebrating Jesus' Resurrection through a shared meal with friends…
…taking another refreshing walk with Jeff… in the rain again…
He is Risen!

He is risen indeed!
Dear Wardeh,
Your Resurrection Weekend Blessings sound, indeed, abundant in blessings. The walk in the rain sounds romantic and peaceful…
I am rejoicing with you that your music went well. You were filled with a peace that only God can give, isn’t that wonderful?
Love, Robin
P.S. The dress Beka was wearing was the one we got last week.
SO comfy!
