Such Treasures

The sunlight is filtering through the trees into the house. Just beautiful! We have a star prism hanging in the dining room window and when the sun shines on it, little rainbows reflect all over the walls. I often notice those first, and that reminds me to appreciate the warmth and beauty of the sun. I am appreciating it today for sure, after a few days of rain and gloom. I feel ready to wake up and soak all the rays in. I am ready for spring and today being the first of March, I am certain it is getting close.

Speaking of spring, Sylvia is helping us get ready for spring cleaning on the T2CHK Message Board. As much as I dread the work, I am eager to feel the freedom of cleanliness and organization. In preparation for April, when she will coordinate our cleaning in earnest, I am getting our house organized. We have lived here just six months, but it doesn’t take long for things to get out of order. Each day, I accomplish a little more toward that goal.

Today should be a quiet day for us. We will be home all day. The next three days, we will be out. Today I want to make sure the house is in tip-top shape, as I won’t be spending much time in it after today. We have our normal schoolwork to accomplish. Actually, the kids are waiting on me right now to start our reading aloud.
