Such Treasures

He has been working on learning to read since last fall. There are ups and downs, to be sure. Right now, reading seems difficult for him. He keeps plugging along, with a little (or much!) encouragement from me. I keep having to remind him not to guess what the word is by the first sound. He has to rely on the sounds that are on the page to show him what the word is.
